We now have the beginnings of the new Digital Image Group website up at www.digitalimagegroup.org . Looks are deceiving because this is the start of something with tremendous potential. Using the Joomla Content Management System, the DIG website has the ability over time to handle a very wide range of technologies and will help us organize and control a very large amount of information, an on-line library, a multimedia center for training and other applications, forums, blogs, chat rooms and a series of galleries. One of the special features of the site is the ability to bring other websites into this website through portals, much like a Picture within a Picture. Thus far we only have the skeleton of the site set up. It will be filling out over the next year or two with all kinds of goodies. Our website is created and maintained by Norma Nichols of Art on Disk Corp. Seems to me I know her from somewhere.
