At the March 19th, 2009 meeting of DIG, Steve Taylor once again wowed the audience with his brief video "NASCAR Atlanta." The event was lensed on the 9th of March.

It was late in the evening before Steve's video hit the stage.  Several people grew restless to leave after seeing quite a number of presentations. When they heard that Steve's video would take only a couple of minutes, they all came back in the door and sat down to watch this. The short little video energized them so much they stayed for the rest of the evening's presentations.

Steve interspersed still photographs of race cars on the track with live video clips of the precision NASCAR pit crews in action. He used the same digital camera to capture both the stills and videos. The quality of the finished piece is excellent, including the frantic music.
