Hello everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of the following people for participating in the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce “Douglasville and Douglas County – People, Places, Events and Things” Photography Show that Digital Image Group currently has in progress in downtown Douglasville.

Believe it or not, we are still hanging pictures for this show and just placed 8 more images on the wall this week, so if you would like to contribute some of your work or more of your work, please get in touch with me. We still have plenty of wall space for more pictures. So far we have 53 nicely framed images on display at the Chamber.

Our contributors thus far are:

Angelo Muhammad
Butch Alley
Diane Yancey
Frank Karycinski
Gail Morris
Gene and Caprice Spicer
Glenn Bickford
Jerry Frost
Jim Enterkin
Jim Gardner
John Fuller
Kent Owings
Mike Toles
Norma Nichols
Richard Nichols
Stella Spyrou
Susan Morris

 You can be next!

Special thanks go to Diane Yancey, Jerry and Marge Frost and to Norma Nichols for hanging the show. That has been quite a labor of love.

Kali Boatright, the president of the Chamber, has asked that we leave the show up for a good while because she likes all of the pictures a great deal! She and the people who make up the Chamber wish to thank all of you very much!!

Instead of having a “Summer Show” we will leave the images in place until sometime in August and begin changing them out slowly until we have the next show in place. Our next show will be “Image-makers Choice” meaning that you can bring pictures that you have made that you like and are proud of. They can be of any locale, any subject that interests you, and can be digitally manipulated images as well. They don’t have to originate from within a camera.

Again, I certainly appreciate all of your support in this worthy project. You are making us all look great! The city of Douglasville is a better place because you are all here and because of your contributions to the visual landscape.

 Richard
