We are pleased to announce that we have gone through the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 12th. This event was held at The Great Frame Up, one of our prized sponsors. The Digital Image Group is now a proud member of the Chamber. As you can see from the photo taken by Amber Wilburn, Director of Communication and Community Affairs at the Chamber, we had quite a number of people from both the Digital Image Group and the Douglas County Chamber show up to wish us success in helping the visually oriented (and visually deprived) people of West Atlanta and West Georgia to promote and display their work, to see the work of others, and to enjoy the company of like-minded digital artists/videographers/photographers. To the right of myself and my wife Norma are our two Ambassadors to the Chamber, Lois Volper and Assistant Ambassador Susan Morris. Their function is to represent DIG at all major Chamber functions and to help publicize our mission, bring us new members and help us find motivated sponsors. DIG is a charitable organization with free membership. We need sponsors to help pay our way as we also promote them. We want to especially thank all of you who showed up for the ribbon cutting. That was a very special day! And as you can see, I’ve attached a picture of theluscious cheesecake we served that day.
